Accessing Bruce Trail through a free parking lot on Dunbly road. There’s enough room for about 5 cars. 
Hockley Valley Provincial Park is maintained by Ontario Parks, and features over 5 km of Bruce trail and over 6 km of side trails.

The park borders the Niagara Escarpment, and is part of the Orangeville Moraine. 
A few times I came across these ladders cutting across the trail, I assume to discourage bikes and horses. 
The trail is slightly more challenging due to the varying level of terrain with lots of ascents and descents.

Aww thanks, you are too kind. We didn’t do much hiking in the fall last year, so I’m hoping to make up for it this year. Hockley Valley is definitely on the list. Mono Cliffs is another park that’s nearby that is particularly lovely in the fall too.
